Camp Harvest Summer Camp

HSM Summer Camp 2019 website.PNG

Experience the best week of the summer… come to Summer Camp and have a life changing encounter with God. It’s amazing how much growth can happen in one week in a high school student’s relationship with Christ and with others.

These days are filled with opportunities to engage in worship, lean into teaching from God’s Word, get honest and transparent in small group and enjoy the outdoors through a variety of unique camp activities.

PACKING LIST

Bedding: Sleeping bag, pillow, sheets. We discourage campers from packing these items in a plastic garbage bag. Instead, we recommend a nylon drawstring bag.

Suitcase/duffel bag: Bible, pen, toiletries, towel (1-2 beach and bath), a modest swimsuit, clothing for 5 days, 2 pairs of shoes, sweatshirt or jacket, rain gear, sunscreen, insect repellent, flashlight, and a plastic bag for wet/dirty clothing. Optional: camera, cabin games/activities.

Backpack: Snacks for the bus ride. Campers will eat lunch upon arrival at camp.

NOT allowed: Any electronics, cell phones, iPods, food. Please leave all electronics including cell phones at home. It is recommended that you write your camper's name on his or her belongings. Camp Harvest and Harvest SL / GH are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

CANTEEN

The Canteen is the camp store and purchases are optional. Campers can purchase soda and snacks from the Canteen. An average amount spent by students on snacks is $15-$25/week. The Canteen is handled by account rather than a cash basis. You can put money into your Canteen account through your online registration account. Records will be kept as purchases are made. Canteen balances are not refundable. Balances will be used for future ministry at Camp Harvest. The exception to this is if you placed a larger amount expecting to purchase apparel that wasn't available. In this case, these amounts will be refunded. Merchandise ordered online will be distributed to your child at camp on the first day.

CAMP NURSE

  • Camp Harvest provides a registered nurse for every week of summer camp along with an aide. All camper medication must be turned in to the camp nurse who will dispense meds and provide basic medical care.

  • If you are an RN, nurse practitioner, or a physician and would like to help out for a week at Camp Harvest, please contact us at campharvest@harvestbiblechapel.org
